To be honest. I did not see it coming. The break up I mean.
I guess I should have.
I did love her. I did everything I could to keep it going.
But guess I was just holding a clump of sand.
Where the tighter I held on. The more it kept slipping out.
If I did have a chance to get her back.
I would take it.
But I wouldn't want to risk her happiness with him for it.
No one said letting go would be easy. No one ever said it would be this hard either.
